UF Health North Bed Tower

  • A new 152,000-square-foot, five-story bed tower on UF Health’s North Jacksonville campus.
  • The first floor of the bed tower houses support services and the upper four floors house 92 patient bedrooms, including labor and delivery, an intensive care unit, two operating rooms, and med-surg spaces.
  • The tower, designed to meet LEED® Silver standards, features a 15,000-square-foot green roof.
  • Scope of work included site development and improvements.
  • Batson-Cook was the majority partner in a Joint Venture with Danis Construction for this project.
  • Recipient of the 2017 Excellence in Construction Eagle Award, Healthcare - $25- to $100-million category, presented by Florida First Coast Chapter, Associated Builders and Contractors.
