Batson-Cook constructed five phases of this manufacturing plant which included approximately 400,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
Seven overhead bridge cranes and two 250-ton cranes were installed. Mitsubishi Power Systems will install 12 more cranes in Bay Five.
Construction included 24 equipment foundations, a high-speed balancing bunker with a 61,000 cubic-foot vacuum chamber, two office facilities (30,000 square feet and 17,000 square feet), and complete sitework package.
Railroad service into the buildings was carefully coordinated and constructed.
