Batson-Cook served as the contractor on this fast-track, design-build project housing two ITC Network Operation Centers. The facility also serves ITC^DeltaCom and other internet providers as a web-hosting facility.
Phase I included the interior build-out of 80,000 square feet of office space and approximately 70,000 square feet of equipment space in an existing 300,000-square-foot facility. The project was completed in only three months.
Scope of work included approximately 10,000 tons of cooling for the facility with HVAC and a chilled-water system with Liebert cooling units. Raised computer flooring was installed throughout the facility and all major systems have N+1 redundancy capabilities.
In addition to many other safety and security features, the building was equipped with an FM- 200 fire suppression system and high-end security with palm readers.
