Atlanta, Ga. (April 1, 2025) – Batson-Cook Construction’s 19th annual Clays for a Cause charity sporting clays tournament raised a record-breaking $240,000 for two nonprofit organizations: The Montgomery Cancer Center Mobile Health Clinic and MUST Ministries. This event was held at Big Red Oak Plantation in Gay, Ga. In total, the annual Clays for a Cause event has generated more than $2.8 million dollars for charitable organizations in our community.

“We are always so thankful for our amazing volunteers and sponsors who help make this event possible,” said Randy Hall, president and CEO of Batson-Cook. “It’s truly rewarding to see people come together, have fun, and raise a significant amount of money for deserving organizations.”

“Hosting an event for more than 500 people is no small effort,” said Garrett Ferguson, project manager from Batson-Cook and chair of the event committee. “I think this was one of the best Clays events so far. I can honestly say our months of planning were worth the effort when I see so many people enjoying themselves and making a positive impact on our communities.”

Clays for a Cause event is planned each year by a dedicated committee comprised of Batson-Cook employees. More than 80 employees from Batson-Cook’s Atlanta and West Point, Georgia offices volunteered to either plan or executing the event. Batchelor & Kimball, Inc. and Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc. were this year’s Legacy Sponsors.
