(May 22, 2023) – Batson-Cook Construction, one of the Southeast’s leading healthcare construction companies, has completed work on the new Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University, a state-of-the-art hospital conceived, designed, and constructed to deliver a unique model of cancer care that bridges outpatient and inpatient care and integrates groundbreaking research into cancer preventions and treatments.

Located in Midtown Atlanta, this 450,000 square-foot, 17-story, iconic building dedicated to personalized cancer care includes private inpatient rooms, family suites, clinic exam rooms, research space and multidisciplinary collaboration spaces. The building also has operating rooms, rehabilitation space, radiation oncology and imaging, and associated ancillary support space. Uniquely designed to place patients at the center of specialized cancer care teams, diagnostics, treatments, research and support services, Winship Cancer Institute at Emory Midtown is purpose-built to deliver a personalized experience for each patient.
