Batson-Cook Construction Breaks Ground on New Fire Station 16

Ft. Worth, TX (October 16, 2024) – Batson-Cook Construction commemorated construction on a new Fire Station for the City of Fort Worth with a groundbreaking ceremony. This new facility will serve as headquarters for Battalion 5 and provide vital services to the growing community. The ceremony marks the start of construction for the facility.

“Batson-Cook Construction is proud to collaborate with the City of Fort Worth to deliver this essential community asset,” said Neha Dugal, senior vice president and general manager for Batson-Cook Dallas. “This new facility will provide the firefighters with the resources they need to protect our community.”

Fire Station 16 will be a 3-bay, 2-story double company facility. It will receive modern upgrades to technology, housing, facilities, and safety for the firefighters. The building will be built on a one-acre site on the corner of Lovell Avenue and Horne Street.
