Dunwoody United Methodist Church
Dunwoody, GA
Phase I $7,300,000
Phase II $8,500,000
Batson-Cook constructed a 70,000-square-foot addition to an existing
church which included a two-story, 11,500-square-foot fellowship
hall complete with a stage, A/V control room and full-service kitchen.
The hall provided space for performances, meals and other church-related
events.
In addition to the fellowship hall, Batson-Cook constructed a
new gymnasium which featured a second floor running track, basketball
courts, bleachers and aerobics room. A fully equipped playground
was located adjacent to the building.
Batson-Cook was also selected as general contractor for Phase II
construction of the new 68,000-square-foot sanctuary. In addition
to the sanctuary, the project's scope of work features a narthex,
choir room, office/ administration space, balcony and classrooms.
