Project Details

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

The Duke Energy Center is a 1.5 million-square-foot, 51-story office building atop a one-million-square-foot, eight-level underground parking deck on a full city block in Charlotte, North Carolina. This project exterior is unitized curtainwall with the top five levels being structural steel.  Building features include concrete tube frame construction with precast double-tee infill between core and perimeter. 

This is the tallest building in the world to use double-tees.

The Duke Energy Center is the first high-rise office building to obtain LEED® CS v2.0 Platinum certification.
