This two-story, 144-bed correctional institute has a state-of-the-art
electronic security system that incorporates video monitoring and
electric door control through the use of graphic control panels
in control rooms on both floors. The facility also has a full commercial
kitchen designed to feed its own occupants as well as an equal number
of prisoners in an adjacent correctional facility. The use of precast
for the entire structure allowed the shell to be erected and dried-in
in less than two weeks.
