The Cloister

This project included a 245,484-square-foot five-star hotel
of Spanish/ European architectural style. Features included
32 luxury suites, meeting/ ballroom, prefunction room, restaurants,
state-of-the-art culinary facility and a solarium. Unique wood timber
framing, millwork and stone were also included within the scope
of work.
Batson-Cook's excellence in project management and innovative construction techniques and materials resulted in this project winning the 2007 "Build Georgia" Award from the Associated General Contractors of America.
Batson-Cook also completed the $7 million foundations package
for the Cloister Main Lodge, as well as the new $77 million Beach Club facility, which were awarded under separate contracts.
