This continuing care residential community project included the
construction of a 38,400-square-foot, 38-unit assisted living facility,
4,300-square-foot laundry/ maintenance facility and a 600-square-foot
addition consisting of a sunroom and multipurpose room to the existing
health center. Value engineering rendered by Batson-Cook produced
a $120,000 cost savings for the owner. Construction was scheduled
to allow the health center to continue operations while work was
on going.
