Batson-Cook has completed the first phase of Rockdale Hospital’s
master plan, which included the renovation of approximately 10,500
square feet of the existing Emergency Department and addition of
an 18,000 square foot Observation Unit. Improvements and upgrades
to the central energy plant were also included in this project’s
scope of work.
Batson-Cook is currently constructing the second phase of Rockdale
Hospital's new three-floor, 175,000-square-foot patient tower which
will include a floor for labor and delivery rooms, a floor for an
intensive care unit, and a floor for medical and surgical beds.
The scope of work also includes a three-level, 450-space underground
parking garage and an addition to the central energy plant.
