Batson-Cook was Construction Manager-at-Risk for this six-story addition to the DePaul Building as well as a 772-space parking garage. St. Vincent’s Cancer Center includes a Radiation Oncology Department on the ground floor (including two linear accelerator vaults) and an elevated connector to the DePaul Building. The connector, known as the Walk of Hope, houses support services and shops for cancer patients, including a salon and shops for wigs, clothing, and prosthetics.
The precast structure was designed and built to support future vertical expansion that will include office space and a central utility plant.
