Batson-Cook added a 40,000-square-foot, two-story wing addition
to each of two vocational training academies. The interior of both
is designed to house a combination of classrooms and science labs.
Each is fully wired to accommodate current technology.
With school in session during construction, strict attention was
given to safety and campus accessibility for students and instructors.
When the original 12-month construction schedule was cut back to
eight months, Batson-Cook used local quality subcontractors, and
implemented aggressive scheduling and well-organized staff to complete
this design-build project on time.
