Built on a 52-acre site in Roswell, GA, Blessed Trinity Catholic
High School serves 1,000 students in a new one-story, 171,000-square-foot
facility. The project includes classrooms, a state-of-the-art performing
arts center, two gymnasiums, six science labs, two computer labs
and an art lab. In addition, the new high school houses a library,
a chapel, a media center, and a cafeteria and food preparation area.
A sports complex with fields for various activities, a field house
and concession area complete the campus.
Batson-Cook's preconstruction services department began its involvement
during the planning phase and proposed several ways for the client
to save money. By researching alternate building materials and recommending
innovative construction methods, the client saved $779,224.
