This 360,000-square-foot polypropylene film facility included two production lines.
The plant consisted of 12 main production areas and three out buildings.
All production equipment services were provided through an extensive foundation system, including trenches, pits, equipment base plates, etc.
The plant walls were constructed using insulated metal wall panels and the roof system was constructed using 60-mil, fully-adhered, singe-ply with skylights and smoke vents.
The buildings were each fully sprinkled, and the mechanical system was driven by both chilled and tower water from two cooling towers piped throughout the plant. These towers also included gas and compressed air.
Super-flat slabs were required for the stability of the automatic retrieving system.
Batson-Cook successfully completed this fast-track project in just 12 months.
