Comprehensive renovations to an existing 306,000-square-foot high school campus with more than 2,000 student stations.
Scope included a complete remodeling of the following:
Mechanical system: ductwork, chillers, AHUs, VAVs, fans, pumps, and controls.
Electrical: light fixtures, site lighting, security, fire detection, and alarm.
Plumbing: restrooms and drinking fountains (renovated with new fixtures and for ADA compliance).
A new complete fire sprinkler system, hydrants, and 2,200 feet of fire line.
Roof: old roof removed and new roof system installed.
Stairs: two new stairwell additions.
Interior: paint, flooring, specialties, new acoustical ceiling, new lockers, and the replacement of doors, frames, and hardware.
Bleachers: renovated existing bleachers in the gymnasium and football stadium and installed new bleachers at the softball field.
Added a new outside entrance to the administration office.
Resurfaced a 50,000-square-foot outdoor play court and installed new sports equipment.
Renovations were conducted while school was in session with work performed in five phases to lessen any inconvenience to the school's activities.
Before, during, and after each phase, the construction team managed the student portables, storage areas, containers, and moving of all school contents.
