Mr. Evers leads the Tampa office and has ultimate responsibility for strategic planning, business development and construction operations, among other tasks essential to the growth of the office and company.

In his previous position as vice president of construction management (CM), Mr. Evers was responsible for generating new CM contracts. Prior to his job as Vice President, he was a project executive for the $150 million, 47-story Hearst Tower in Charlotte, NC. He has also led other successes for Batson-Cook including the Post Properties Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta.

Mr. Evers joined Batson-Cook in 1995 as a senior project manager. With more than 40 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Evers has a diverse background in both general contracting as well as commercial real estate development. His tenure at Batson-Cook has emphasized procurement strategy, contract negotiations and construction management. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State College, San Francisco, CA.
