In 2003, Mr. Douma joined Batson-Cook as senior vice president/ general manager for Atlanta operations. With his previous company, he worked his way to the top, leaving the firm as vice president/ branch manager for the Atlanta regional office with such credits as the Petronas Tower #1 in Malaysia, the tallest building in the world. In his current capacity, Mr. Douma leads the Atlanta office and has ultimate responsibility for strategic planning, business development and construction operations, among other tasks essential to the growth of the office and company.

A registered professional engineer, Mr. Douma is a member of both the Atlanta and the Cobb County (GA) Chambers of Commerce. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is fluent in Spanish and has more than 34 years of construction experience.
