Mr. Appleton leads the West Point construction office and has ultimate responsibility for strategic planning, business development and construction operations, among other tasks essential to the growth of the office and company.

He has 32 years of experience in the construction industry and has been with Batson-Cook Company since 2005. Mr. Appleton has worked both in the office and in the field as project engineer, project manager, estimator, group manager and project executive. He has experience in a wide variety of public and private sector projects including high rise offices and condominiums, parking garages, transportation, educational and resort facilities.

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Mr. Appleton received a degree in Building Science from Auburn University. He is proud to serve on the Board of Directors of the Columbus, Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
