Mr. Nelson leads the Tampa construction office and has ultimate responsibility for strategic planning, business development, and construction operations, among other tasks essential to the growth of the office and company.

Mr. Nelson joined Batson-Cook Company in 1990. During his 20-year career, he has worked both in the field and office as project engineer, estimator, project manager, senior project manager, and project executive on a wide variety projects in both the private and public sectors.

A native of Tampa, Florida, Mr. Nelson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Louisiana State University.
